Female Yeast Infection
When you hear the term ‘female yeast infection’ it is most likely referring to the vaginal type. Men and women can both get yeast infections of the skin, the mouth, etc, but it’s pretty safe to assert that a vaginal infection is precisely a woman’s issue!
This sort of illness occurs for the same reasons that all yeast infections do ; due to an overgrowth of Candida albicans in the body, also known as yeast. Couple that with a few other triggers like sweat or moisture from wearing damp clothing and you have the a recipe for yeast overgrowth.
Some paths to elude getting this illness are to eat a healthful diet and try to keep healthy overall in order to keep your immune system nice and strong. Keeping your body clean and dry will also make a big acidophilus supplement or eating yogurt with active cultures has also been shown to help stop infections because this provides you with the ‘good bacteria’ that you need to battle off yeast internally.
A tiny information and diligence will go a good distance in helping you keep those nasty infections away, and when you do feel that familiar itch and pain, there are all sorts of cures available-over the counter and natural-to help you fast so that you can get on with things.
